We are excited to be bringing in Teaching Artists from Alley Theater to help us! The course will cover the following topics:
• Foundations of Theater • Improvisational Skills We feel that these topics will help any team in any challenge! |
The IC portion of the workshop will focus on Instant Challenge skills that include jobs and responsibilities, idea generating tools, and going from ho-hum to ah-ha by turning common ideas into creative ones. We are excited to have facilitators who have a great deal of experience with Instant Challenge, and can help you take your team to the next level !

Who Can Attend? Our workshop is geared towards individuals who are participating in the 2024-25 Destination Imagination Competitive Challenges.
Every Team/Group that attends must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Children cannot attend the workshop by themselves We appreciate all of our Rising Stars! teams, this workshop is not geared towards you. Please contact Jay Kumar at [email protected] to see if your group might benefit. |
What Does It Cost?Students/Team Members:
$ 22 each First Adult with team (The Required One): Free Each Additional Adult with team: $ 11 Due to limited space, we ask that teams bring no more than 2 adults total |

Once you have completed the online registration form, and your registration is accepted you will receive an invoice within 72 hours. Your registration will not be complete until the invoice has been paid.

FAQ's
Q1) Does the TM have to sign up for the team?
A1) Yes, only the TM can sign up for the team, even if only one or two members can make it. Parents cannot sign up individually for this workshop.
Q2) Does the whole team have to participate?
A2) No, even one child from a team can participate. They will be paired up with other children to form the required group size. One of the objectives of the workshop is to learn to work together as a team.
Q3) How many adults can attend?
A3) Two adults maximum can attend per team. The team manager (free) and one extra paid adult. If the TM cannot attend for some reason, they have the ability to designate an alternate adult (free) on their behalf.
Q4) Can team parents who drive the kids to the workshop watch their children.
A4) No.
Q5) Should I gather the names of those who can attend before registering for the workshop.
A5) Yes, please. Once registration is submitted changes are not permitted.
